Alice Anderson

Funeral Services for Alice Anderson (Mrs. Chester) of Wheaton will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Covenant Church in Wheaton. Pastor Tim Shekleton will officiate. Pallbearers are: Jeff Smith, Cleon Larson, Paul Chader, Alden, Peter and Ronald Hoftstedt. There will visitation at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be at West Lakeside Cemetery in rural Wheaton. Alice Anderson passed away Saturday evening at the Rosholt Care Center in Rosholt, South Dakota. She was 99 years old. Alice was born in Midle, Saskatchewan, Canada on October 28, 1910 to John and Edla Larson. Her family moved to the Wheaton area when Alice was very young. She married Chester O. Anderson on December 6, 1929. Alice was a member of the Bethlehem Covenant Church in Wheaton. Alice is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Chester on February 8, 1998, her parents, sisters Doris Smith, Hazel Strandland and Gladys Larson, brothers George and Iva Larson.
