Funeral Services for Alice Fleischfresser, of Herman will be held Wednesday, Feb. 10th, at 1:00 PM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Herman. Rev. Carl Berner will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Herman in the spring. Alice passed away Friday evening at the Good Samaritan Home in Hoffman. She was 92 years old. Alice was born on March 6, 1917 to George and Rose (Fieblkorn) Hicks at Amboy, Minnesota. They moved to a farm outside of Norcross, Minnesota when Alice was a young girl. She married Ernest Fleischfresser on October 20, 1934 and they were blessed with twelve children. Alice was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Herman and the Ladies Guild. She was also a member of the Ladies American Legion Auxiliary. Alice moved to the Hoffman Good Samaritan Home in April of 1998. She is survived by 8 children: Kenneth and Roxanne Fleischfresser of Shawnee, OK, Melvin and friend Barb of Minneapolis, Roger and Ann of Blaine, MN, Sharon and Jim Frisch of Wheaton, Ronald and Kathy of Minneapolis, Marjorie Williams of Grand Forks, ND, LaVonne and Darrell Frier of Alexandria, Donna and Michael Dumos of Wheaton, one daughter-n-law: Phyllis Fleischfresser of Alexandria, 30 grandchildren, several great and several great great grandchildren. Alice was preceded in death by her husband Ernest in 1992, three sons: Eldred, Bernard, and Richard, one daughter, Jean Rae, 2 grandsons and one great granddaughter.
