Funeral Service for Alice Leuthard, 83, of Wheaton, Minnesota will be held Monday, October 18, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wheaton, Minnesota with Rev. Thomas Olson officiating. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Johnson, Chad Johnson, Adam Johnson, Alex Leuthard, LeRoy Eide, Tony Narducci and Andy Ourada. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joey & Delores Gaulrapp and Debbie Kellen. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 17th from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with a 6:30 P.M. Prayer Service at the Ranney Funeral Home in Wheaton. Alice passed away Monday, October 11, 2010 at the Traverse Care Center in Wheaton. Alice was born on May 15, 1927 in New Prairie Township, near Cyrus, Minnesota to Sever and Edna (Sandvig) Mithun. She was baptized June 7, 1927 in the Cyrus Lutheran Church, where she was also later Confirmed. Alice grew up on the family farm near Cyrus and attended Country School there. She loved farm animals and enjoyed working around the farm with her brothers, cutting wood, milking cows and always taking care of her garden. On August 23, 1948, she married Bill Leuthard in Big Stone County. Together they had eight children. Alice loved to go dancing. She enjoyed cousin Bettys company, morning coffee and talking to friends. She also loved to sew when she could. Alice is survived by eight children: Marie (Edward) Ourada of Kemmerer, Wyoming, Mary (Randy) Olson of Norcross, Minnesota, Wanda (Peter) Narducci of Dassel, Minnesota, Jim (September) Leuthard of Kemmerer, Wyoming, Linda (Mark) Bladek of Little Falls, New York, Dale (Ann) Leuthard of Moorhead, Minnesota, Lori Johnson of Hewitt, Minnesota and Gary (Michelle) Leuthard of Jackson, Michigan, one brother: Sidney (Janis) Mithun of Cyrus, Minnesota, one sister: Gladys Eide of Elbow Lake, Minnesota, fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preced in death by her parents, her husband Bill in 1989, two brothers; Art and Marvin, one grandson; Steven Ourada and a great greanddaughter; Lexi Ourada.
