Anna Regina Gilsdorf, age 93, of Oakdale, MN, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the Woodbury Care Center in Woodbury, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held April 24, 2015 11:00 a.m. at Ave Maria Catholic Church in Wheaton with Fr. Joe Vandeberg and Fr. Stanley Weiser Celebrants. Visitation will be held Thursday evening, April 23rd from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Time of Sharing Service at the church. Visitation will continue Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Inurnment will be at the St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Dumont, Minnesota. Anna was born on July 26, 1921 in Humphrey, Nebraska to Frank and Frieda Wieser. The Wieser family moved to the Wheaton area in 1924. In 1939 Anna moved to California. In 1942 she returned to the area and was married to Gilbert Gilsdorf. They moved to the farmstead in Dumont where they lived for thirty-six years. Anna enjoyed dancing, bingo, bowling and playing cards. Anna was involved in Homemakers Extension, St. Peter's Catholic Church Ladies Aid and 4-H. Anna and Gilbert enjoyed traveling and especially liked bus tours and visiting Hawaii. Anna is survived by her children: Charlotte (Bryant) Tate of Fort Mill, SC; Jim of Fort Mill, SC; Paul of Mills River, NC; Nancy (Richard) Keaveny of Indian Trail, NC and Jerry (Sue) of Stillwater, MN; grandchildren: Kelly (Steve) Hill of Burnsville, MN; Troy (Melissa) Abraham of Bonaire, GA; Jaime (Darrol) Feliciano of Arvada, CO; Greg (Donna) Gilsdorf of Mills River, NC; Hannah Gilsdorf of Stillwater, MN and Aaron Gilsdorf of Stillwater, MN; great-grandchildren: Sam Hill, Amanda Hill, Garrett Feliciano, Trevor Feliciano, Luke Gilsdorf, Jaida Feliciano, Peyton Feliciano, Grant Abraham and Macey Abraham; and brother Cyril (Lorraine) Wieser of Trenton, Illinois. Anna was preceded in death by her husband (Gilbert), son (Joseph) and eleven siblings.
