Funeral Services for Arnold Myron Tilberg of Wheaton will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton. Pastor Charles Horkey will officiate. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the spring at Lakeside Cemetery near White Rock, South Dakota. Arnold passed away Sunday evening, February 13, 2011 at the Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, North Dakota. He was 88 years old. Pallbearers are Orval Rinke, Rev. Gordon Bock, Orval Hess, Lynn Propp, J. C. Larson, and Darryl Raguse. Honorary Pallbearers are Steve Cloutier, Anthony Cloutier, Casey Cloutier, and Jessica Cloutier. Arnold was born February 13, 1923 in Duluth, Minnesota to Arnold Eric Tilberg and Ethal May Leach Tilberg. He attended Duluth Elementary School, and then finished his last three years of schooling at Proctor High School, graduating in 1941. He then moved to Montana where he worked at Anaconda Smelter in Great Falls. After working for a time for Boeing Template in Seattle, he moved back to Anaconda and drove truck and in the 1950s worked at the Sieban Ranch in Montana. He married Vesta Anie Cloutier in 1962 and in 1964 they moved to Minneapolis where they worked as property managers until retirement in 1984. Arnold was a Minnesota licensed Special Engineer. Later Vesta and Arnold moved to Wheaton. Vesta passed away in March of 1996. Arnold is survived by one brother Earl (Eva Mae) Tilberg of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, three grandchildren: Dana (Esther) Cloutier, Steven (Sonja) Cloutier and Nicholas (Nancy) Cloutier, eight great grandchildren, and special family friend Val Hagfeltd-Spung. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Vesta, one brother Bobby and step-son Joseph (Skeeter) Cloutier.
