Funeral service for Dean Willard Niesche, 76, of Wheaton, Minnesota will be held Saturday August 30th at 11:00 A.M. at St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton, Minnesota with Pastor Charles Horkey officiating. Internment was at the Riverside cemetery, Nashua, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. The Ranney Funeral Home of Wheaton & Herman, Minnesota is in charge of arrangements. Dean Willard Niesche, age 76, of Wheaton, MN passed away peacefully at his home on August 27th, 2008. Dean Willard Niesche was born May 5th, 1932 to Harry and Carolina (Waeffler) Niesche in Wheaton. He grew up on a farm near Norcross and attended country school in district 56 until his asthma forced him to quit. On September 3rd, 1955 Dean was united in marriage to Beverly Bylund of Nashua. After quitting school Dean helped his father farm and did custom baling on his own. In the late 50s Dean and Beverly moved to the Twin Cities area where he worked for International Harvester. In the early 60s Dean became a salesman for West Bend company which he enjoyed immensely. Later on they relocated to the Mora area where he finished out his career at Boatel Inc. a yacht manufacturing company. After retiring to Wheaton, Dean was employed part time at Havenwood Home or he could be found working in his garage on any number of his inventions or gardening near their apartment. You would also see him riding around town on his scooter making friends as he went. He was called grandpa by his nieces, Madi & Kaity and nephew Aidyn and enjoyed sitting with them on his favorite swing. Dean is survived by his wife of 53 years, Beverly, sister Illene (Syl) Speldrick of Chaska, MN; brother LeRoy (Meridee) Niesche of Chaska, MN; sister-in-law Barbara Flakker, Wheaton, sister-in-law Dorothy Bylund of Bethel, MN, sister-in-law Margaret (Rob) Bylund Maires, Canada and brother-in-law Bernard (Sylvia) Bylund, Blaine, MN and many nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends. Preceded in death by his parents Harry Niesche and Carolina (Niesche) Hanson, sister Lois Stephens and husband Steve, brother Ronald Niesche and wife Jean, niece Kim Joy Niesche and nephew Joel Ray Niesche.
