Donna Louise (Schmitz) Weber, age 72, of Wheaton, Minnesota passed away November 14, 2014 at Sanford Hospital in Wheaton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Ave Maria Catholic Church in Wheaton with Fr. Joe Vandeberg Celebrant. Organist will be Cindy Sanasack with special music provided by the Ave Maria Catholic Church Choir. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Wheaton. Pallbearers will be Larry Schmitz, Nathaniel Murken, Kevin Walz, Brad Johanson, Glen Koch and Steve Kemp. Honorary Pallbearers will be Donna's nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday, November 17th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. Prayer Service at the Bainbridge Funeral Home in Wheaton. Visitation will continue Tuesday morning one hour prior to service time at the church. Donna was born February 13, 1942 to Verney and Louise Schmitz in Graceville, Minnesota. She attended school in Dumont, Minnesota and later Wheaton High School. Upon graduation she worked at the State Bank of Wheaton. Donna was united in marriage to Richard Weber in Dumont, Minnesota on September 9, 1961. Together they had four children: Connie, Brian, David and Dan. She was also a "Mom" to many other children as she had her own daycare business "Donna's Daycare" for forty years. She and Richard also farmed. After her retirement she had time to become a member of the Ave Maria Sewing Circle. She enjoyed her time making quilts and visiting with the other quilters. Donna is survived by her husband Richard of Wheaton; daughter Connie (Eric) Johnson of Moorhead, Minnesota; three sons: Brian (Lanette) Weber of Horace, North Dakota; David Weber of Aberdeen, South Dakota and Dan (Jeanette) Weber of Alexandria, Minnesota; three grandchildren Brenden, Deonna and Breanna; three brothers: Orv (Bernice) Schmitz of Alexandria, Minnesota; Roger (Kathi) Schmitz of Otter Tail, Minnesota and Tom (Marg) Schmitz of Rosholt, South Dakota; her sister Kathy (Ed) Murken of Glenwood, Minnesota; sister-in-law Arlis Schmitz of Graceville, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Alvin and Ronnie, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ken and Lois Walz.
