Edwin Vanderwal

Funeral Service for Edwin G. Vanderwal, 85 of Dumont, Minnesota will be held Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at the Ave Maria Catholic Church in Wheaton, Minnesota with Fr. Joe Vandeberg officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Dumont, Minnesota. Visitation will be held Friday, May 9th from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Ranney Funeral Home in Wheaton. Edwin George Vanderwal was born June 8, 1922 in Graceville, Minnesota to George and Elsie (Schaffer) Vanderwal. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Peters Catholic Church in Dumont, Minnesota. He received an eight grade education in District 43 in rural Dumont, Minnesota. Edwin farmed with his parents a number of years. He then worked road construction for many years, and also worked for the Grace Home in Graceville, Minnesota. Edwin passed away May 7, 2008 at the Grace Home in Graceville, Minnesota. Edwin is survived by many cousins, friends and extended family. Edwin was preceded in death by his parents.
