Florence Timm

Funeral Service for Florence Timm, 95, of Wheaton, Minnesota will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Presbyterian Church in Wheaton, Minnesota with Pastor Mickey Olson officiating. Pallbearers will be Florences grand-nephews: Travor Timm, Trent Timm, Troy Timm, Marc Kleespies, Brian Kleespies, Kurt Kleespies and Christopher Shuckhart. Honorary Pallbearers will be Florences nieces and nephews and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Organist will be Nancy Krenz. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with a 7:00 P.M. Prayer Service at the Ranney Funeral Home in Wheaton. Visitation will continue Wednesday afternoon one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Wheaton. Florence Hazel Timm was born Florence Hazel Johnson on November 15, 1914. She was the second of four children born to Alfred Olaf AO Johnson and Hazel Emma Clark. Florence graduated from Wheaton High School in 1933 and worked in various businesses in Wheaton including Stewarts Variety, Farmers Store and the Gopher Theatre. Florence was very active in the Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder, and in the VFW Auxiliary where she was the recording secretary for many years. In 1947, Florence married Alfred Al Timm. Al had one son, Roger Timm, from a previous marriage. Florence passed away October 24, 2010 at the Traverse Care Center in Wheaton, Minnesota. Florence is survived by one sister Grace Muellenbach of Wheaton, Minnesota, step-son Roger Timm of Aurora, Colorado, and one step-grandson Andy Timm of Blaine, Minnesota, many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, as well as many extended family. Florence was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister Jessie May Cory, one brother Lloyd Bud Johnson, long-time companion Lester Fossen, many aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society.
