Harriet Smith, age 67, of Wheaton, Minnesota passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 at her residence in Wheaton. A private family service will be held at a later date. For those of you who didn't know, Harriet's passing was caused by a bout with cancer which began fifteen years ago when she found out she had developed breast cancer. The cancer then went into her bones where it spread, and Harriet being who she was fought back. The cancer went into remission, and after all of these years came back again. Harriet had a heart as big as the outdoors, and held a special place in it for everyone. The more people that came into her life, the bigger her heart got, never diminishing the love she already held for each and every one of us. And when she passed, she didn't pass alone. She took all of the love that you'd all given her over the years with her. She'll never be alone. So once again, to all of the family, friends and foster children who share in our loss. From Fred, and myself. Thank You so much for your kind words. They meant a lot. Harriet is survived by her husband of forty-eight years Fred Smith of Wheaton; children: Donna L. Smith of Lincoln, Nebraska; Edward L. Smith of Red Bluff, California; and Diana L. Smith-Clark of Milpitas, California; siblings: Richard A. Feger of Bangkok, Thailand; James W. Feger of Kanoa, Saipan; Mary Ellen Fernandes of Norton, Massachusetts; Donald A. Feger of Wheaton; Carmen E. Feger of Red Bluff, California; and Pauline A. Feger of Redding, California; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Harriet was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Mary (Baker) Feger and her brother Fred.
