Helen Frisch

Funeral Service for Helen Marie Frisch, 80, of Wheaton, Minnesota will be held Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at Ave Maria Catholic Church in Wheaton, Minnesota with Fr. Joe Vandeberg officiating. Organist will be Cindy Sanasack with special music provided by the Ave Maria Church Choir. Pallbearers will be Helens grandsons: Roger Schmitz Jr., Ryan Schmitz, Rory Schmitz, Allen Frisch, David Ebel, Tanner Drewelow, Marcus Siegel, Jim Frisch Jr., and Sonny Frisch Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Helens Granddaughters. Interment will be in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Dumont, Minnesota in the spring. Visitation will be held Friday, March 12th from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Ave Maria Catholic Church. Visitation will continue Saturday morning one hour prior to service time. Helen Marie Doll was born on November 10, 1929 in Dumont, Minnesota to Ben and Johannah (Miller) Doll. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Peters Catholic Church in Dumont and attended St. Peters Parochial School. Helen was united in marriage to Sylvester Sonny Frisch on August 4, 1953 in Dumont. The couple resided in the Dumont and Wheaton area their entire lives. Faith and Family was everything to Helen. She enjoyed watching her children and grandchildrens school and sports activities. She had also been very involved in the Wheaton Senior Center and was a lifetime member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Dumont and later Ave Maria Catholic Church in Wheaton where she served on various church committees. Helen was a wonderful cook and had worked at the Grace Home and most recently at the Traverse Care Center in Wheaton. Helen passed away peacefully March 10, 2010 with family at her side. Helen is survived by six children: Tami (Robin) Siegel of Wheaton, Minnesota, Connie Drewelow (special friend Gene Carrington) of Barry, Minnesota, Mike (Karen) Frisch of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Janie Frisch of Wheaton, Kathi (Roger) Schmitz of Wheaton, and Jim (Sharon) Frisch of Wheaton, seven siblings: Eleanor (Hank) Ahrens of Wheaton, Blanche Westermeyer of Big Stone City, South Dakota, Bim Doll of Wheaton, Skip Doll of Wheaton, Norma Wojtalewicz of Appleton, Minnesota, Ansel Doll of Appleton, Minnesota and Butch (Joyce) Doll of Graceville, Minnesota, sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her parents: Ben and Johannah (Miller) Doll, Husband: Sylvester "Sonny", Son: Mark Eli , Daughter: Mary, Brother: Mike Doll, and two Sisters: Betty Krauth and Jean Geyer.
