Jacob Foss Jr.

Jacob "Jake" Foss, age 77, of Wheaton, MN passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at his residence in Wheaton.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bainbridge Funeral Home in Wheaton with Fr. Stan Wieser officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Wheaton.

Jake was born February 15, 1945 to Jacob and Marion Foss in Pipestone, MN. He graduated from Granite Falls, MN in 1963. He started a family in Nebraska, and moved to Springfield, MN where the family grew up.  After the kids graduated high school, he moved to Wheaton, MN. Jake made his career in the offset printing industry.

Jake enjoyed serving his local Ducks Unlimited Chapters, hunting, fishing, bowling leagues, his black lab Brooke, and spoiling his grandkids with treats and stories.

Jake is survived by his children: Dawn (Brian) Holmseth; Debbie Oswald; Matt (Stephanie) Foss; Denise Johnson; and Mike (Cheri) Foss; grandchildren: Jon Holmseth; Joe (Ashley) Holmseth; Melissa (Levi) Walders; Thomas (Sara) Oswald; Andrew Oswald; Crystal (Luke) Rampy; Brad (Kelsey) Foss; Taylor Foss; Tyler Johnson; Alexis Johnson; Parker Johnson; Hudson Foss; and Amery Foss; great grandchildren: Jackson and Carson Holmseth; Logan, Noah and Jonah Walders; David and Jeremie Oswald; and Madison and Wrenley Foss.

Jake was preceded in death by his parents: Jacob and Marion Foss; brother Elmer Foss; son-in-law Tom Johnson; and son-in-law Jim Oswald.
