James "Jim" Dean Fibranz

James "Jim" Dean Fibranz was born on February 25, 1961. He left this world on September 21, 2024. He was the son of the late James Fibranz and Rita Fibranz (Johnson). Jim was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Wheaton, MN. Jim graduated with the class of 1979 from Wheaton High School. From the time that he was a toddler, Jim has loved the outdoors and resisted going inside. He built forts in the family’s hills and enjoyed camping in them. He spent much of his adult life living and working in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He spent a lot of time in his happy place, the mountains, where he loved to hunt and fish. He loved his pets, especially Brandy, his favorite and loyal dog. We have had many special times with Jim in the last years, as he dealt with his illness. We played a lot of cribbage and Jim was proud of his knack for winning. One of our favorite and most memorable times is when Jim recently joined in saying the “The Lord’s Prayer” with us. We loved Jim so much and will miss him terribly. We picture Jim in Heaven, fishing with his Dad and brothers. There is a private memorial service planned for Jim. Blessed be the memory of James Fibranz, Jr.
