Jerolyn Peters

Jerolyn (Nentl) Peter's, age 72, of Lakeside, Montana, went peacefully into the waiting arms of the Lord, her parents: Jerome and Gladys (Germain) Nentl and husband of thirty-three years William Leonard Peters on July 4, 2017 at Immanuel Lutheran Home in Kalispell, Montana.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Ave Maria Catholic Church in Wheaton with Fr. John Paul Knopik Celebrant. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Wheaton next to her parents and husband. Visitation will be Saturday morning one hour prior to service time at the church.

Jerolyn was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota on January 5, 1945. She attended Marquette University and graduated with a degree in Journalism. She went on to write many children's book's for Crestwood House in Mankato. She then got a job at a newspaper in Tacoma, Washington and met the love of her life William L. Peters and were married on July 14, 1979. Following Bill's passing on August 2, 2011 she never really recovered and ended up in Immanuel Lutheran Home in Kalispell, Montana in 2014, where she resided until her death.

Jerolyn enjoyed writing, her time working at the newspaper, poetry, photography, wood working, stitchery, reading; especially current events, and camping with her husband.

She is survived by two aunts: Delores "Sis" (Nentl) Witschen of St. Paul, Minnesota; and Muriel (Earl) Nentl of Fertile, Minnesota; along with many cousins and friends.
