Funeral Service for Joyce Anna Beyer, 80, of Wheaton Minnesota were held on Friday, December 23, 2005 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton, Minnesota with Rev. Howard Jording officiating. Pallbearers were Duane Bock, Mark Koch, Dennis Koch, Roy Koch, Steve Koch, and Phil Gilsdorf. Spring Interment is planned at Graceland Cemetery in White Rock, South Dakota. Visitation was Thursday, December 22, 2005 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Ranney Funeral Home in Wheaton, Minnesota, and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Joyce Anna Beyer was born on November 29, 1925 to Bernard and Georgia (Krevinghaus) Armbruster in Wheaton, Minnesota. She grew up and attended school in a country school in the Wheaton area. She married Leo Beyer on June 30, 1952 in Wheaton, Minnesota and had two children. She worked in her earlier years at the Wheaton Creamery, numerous restraunts, Wheaton Dry Cleaners and Traverse County Care Center in the laundry and kitchen departments before retiring. After retirement, she enjoyed embroidery, sewing, gardening and canning. She also enjoyed putting puzzles together and doing crosswords. She enjoyed visiting with her grandchildren and doing things for them whenever possible. Joyce was a longtime member of the Wheaton American Legion Auxillary. Joyce passed away on December 20, 2005 at the Traverse Care Center in Wheaton, Minnesota after she lost her battle with cancer. Joyce is survived by her daughters: Lorraine (Brian) Neppl of Breckenridge, Minnesota, and Christie (Terrance) Peters of Wheaton, Minnesota, two grandchildren: Megan Peters and Alexis Neppl, Three sisters: Doris (Donald) Gilsdorf of Graceville, Minnesota, Burnys (Peter) Koch of Chokio, Minnesota, and Fern (Joseph Sr.) Koch of Wheaton, Minnesota, Four brothers-in-law: LeMoyne Bock of Wheaton, Minnesota, Herbert Beyer of Collis, Minnesota, Raymond and Joyce Beyer of Weslaco, Texas, and Lenard and Mary Beyer of Ashby, Minnesota, many nieces and nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Leo Beyer, her parents, one sister: June Bock, two brothers: Donald and Marvin Armbruster, two sister-in-laws: Gladys Armbruster and Gertrude Beyer, and three brother-in-laws: Joseph Koch Sr., Peter Koch, and Donald Gilsdorf, and several nieces and nephews.
