Funeral Service for Kathryn Kay Klindworth, age 62, of Wheaton, Minnesota will be held Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton with Rev. Michael Breach officiating. Urn bearers will be Jeff Young, Mike Young, Andy Young, Kelly Kochlin and Kim Dirks. Visitation will be held Friday evening, February 7th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Prayer Service at the Ranney-Bainbridge Funeral Home in Wheaton. Visitation will continue Saturday from noon until service time at St. John Lutheran Church. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Wildwood Cemetery. Kathryn was born in Breckenridge, Minnesota on March 2, 1951 to Alfred "Boots" and Alice (Nelk) Klindworth. She was baptized on April 26, 1951 and confirmed on January 8, 1984 at St. John Lutheran Church. In 1955, the family moved to Minneapolis where Kathy attended the Frasier school until moving back to Wheaton and continuing her education at Wheaton High School in the special education program. At the present time she was working at Broadway Industries and lived at the Divine House. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton where she enjoyed all the friendly people. She loved watching her movies, hershey kisses, cheering on the sports teams, knitting stocking hats, collecting pop tops and being with her co-workers at Broadway Industries and staff at Divine House. Kathryn passed away on February 1, 2014 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota. Kathryn is survived by her sister Janice (Richard) Young of Wheaton; Nephews: Jeff (Beth) Young of Norcross, Minnesota; Mike (Angela) Young of Wheaton; and Andy (Mary Jo) Young of Dumont, Minnesota; Nieces: Kelly (Scott) Kochlin of Jordan, Minnesota; and Kim (Bob) Dirks of LeSueur, Minnesota; Sister-in-law Karen Klindworth of Prior Lake, Minnesota; five great-nieces, seven great-nephews, and five great-great-nieces and nephews. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister JoAnn, brother Kenneth "Bud" and nephew Stephen Young.
