Laurel Maloney

Memorial Service for Laurel Lea (Klugman) Maloney, 59, of Durham, California, formerly of Minneapolis & Wheaton, Minnesota, will be held Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Ranney Funeral Home in Wheaton, Minnesota with Rev. Joe Vandeberg officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the Funeral Home. Lea was born to Walter and Lois Klugman on December 18, 1947 in Hastings, Minnesota. She graduated from High School in 1965 and moved to Minneapolis. Lea worked various jobs through out her life and was the mother of two children. Leas life revolved around gardening and harvesting the fruits of her labor. She loved coming back to the Wheaton area to pick wild asparagus and berries. Lea had a heart of gold and loved to share her homemade jellies Laurel passed away on Monday, July 16, 2007 at the North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include Husband: Tom Maloney of Durham, California, Mother: Lois Judy Klugman of Wheaton, Minnesota, Children: Tracy Klugman of St. Michael, Minnesota & Matthew (Shanae) Maloney of Plymouth, Minnesota, Siblings: Roberta Hoye of Long Beach, California, Darcy Birchell of Stuartville, Minnesota, Scott (DeeDee) Klugman of Wheaton, Karla (Jon) Ellingson of Chamberlain, South Dakota, Kelly (Bill) McCarthy of Wheaton, and Michelle (Christian) Boe of Dumont, Minnesota, and many nieces and nephews.
