Funeral Services for Lillian Frounfelter will be Tuesday, January 4th, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wheaton with Pastor Tom Olson officiating. Pall Bearers will be: Judy Hanson, Marianne Mohagen, Dean Olhoft, and Wayne Olhoft. Visitation will be held Monday evening at the Ranney Funeral Chapel in Wheaton from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and continue for one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the spring at Wildwood Cemetery in Wheaton. Lillian passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 28, 2010 at the Traverse Care Center in Wheaton. She was 95 years old. Lillian was born November 9, 1915 at home in Norcross Minnesota. She was the daughter of John and Marie (Russo) Olhoft. She grew up in rural Norcross where she attended Norcross School and graduated from the Morris Ag School in 1934. She then helped her parents with the family farm. She also worked at the Farmers Café in Wheaton for two years. Lillian was united in marriage to Melvin Frounfelter on September 19, 1941 in the Hope Lutheran Church Parsonage in Wheaton. She was a loving homemaker and enjoyed visiting with friends and relatives. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge 173 for over ten years. Lillian is survived by her son John of Minneapolis, Minnesota, brother-in-law: Harry Frounfelter of Wheaton, two sisters-in-law: Norma Frounfelter of Wheaton and Amanda Schmidt of Herman. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother: John and her husband Melvin in 2007.
