Lori Boehmlehner

Funeral Services for Lori Boehmlehner, age 53, of Wheaton, Minnesota will be held Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton with Rev. Michael Breach officiating.

Interment will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, rural Wheaton. Pallbearers will be Lee Horning, Rick Bertram, Garth Boehmlehner, Dean Hormann, Scott Klugman, Jeff Ahrens and Matt Snell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Lori's friends and family.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 9th at St. John Lutheran Church from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Time of Sharing Service. Visitation will continue Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Lori Ann Schultz was born on October 16, 1962 in Morris, Minnesota to Fred and Rita (Kopel) Schultz. Lori was baptized and confirmed at St. Charles Church in Herman, Minnesota. She graduated from Herman High School in 1981. Lori continued her education at Alexandria Technical College and graduated with a clerical secretary degree.

Lori met Tom Boehmlehner in 1981, and they were united in marriage on March 22, 1983 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She joined the St. John Lutheran Church in 1994. Tom and Lori resided in Wheaton, Minnesota where they were blessed with three children: Wylie (33), Austin (30) and Tracie (22).

Lori worked at Dale's Steakhouse as a waitress for many years. She would always take excellent care of her customers. She would even cut up the steaks for the people she was serving. During this time, Lori also worked at the Wheaton Nursing Home as a certified nursing assistant. Lori found her true calling when she began working at the Wheaton High School as a paraprofessional. Throughout her time there, she influenced the lives of many students.

Lori had many hobbies including: traveling, reading, helping others, watching her children's sporting events, going to movies, relaxing at the lake and spending time with her friends and family; especially her grandson Silas. She was a very amazing, loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Lori fought a strong battle with cancer for over ten years until she passed away on September 6, 2016 at her home in Wheaton, Minnesota.

Lori is survived by her husband Tom Boehmlehner of Wheaton; three children: Wylie (Karlynn) Boehmlehner of Sartell, Minnesota; Austin Boehmlehner of Wheaton; and Tracie Boehmlehner of Grand Forks, North Dakota; grandson Silas Boehmlehner of Sartell; siblings: Jerry Schultz of Herman, Minnesota; Nick (Jan) Schultz of Imperial, Nebraska; Kathy (Dave) Snell of Chokio, Minnesota; Sandy (Jim) Hasal of Lake Elsinore, California; and Steve Schultz of Herman; brother-in-law Steve (Donna) Boehmlehner of Rosholt, South Dakota; sister-in-law LuAnn Sanderson (Inder Singh) of Santa Monica, California; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lori was preceded in death by her parents, sister Marsha, brothers Charles and LeRoy, and nephew Maxwell.
