Mark Klindworth, age 68, of Wheaton, Minnesota passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at his residence in Wheaton.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service at the Bainbridge Funeral Home in Wheaton with Rev. Cheryl Berg officiating. A Private Family Burial will take place at a later date.
Mark Alan Klindworth was born March 15, 1954 in Wheaton, Minnesota to Lowell “Bud” and Dorothy “Dot” (Bobblit) Klindworth. He graduated from Wheaton High School excelling in sports and in theatre productions.
After graduation Mark briefly attended University of MN-Morris, before returning home to care for his parents. After his father’s death Mark remained in Wheaton working at SuperValu and driving for Jacobsen Transport. Mark Married Donna Ahrens in 1974, together they had two children, Chad and Michael.
Mark at one time had his own trucking company, Klindworth Trucking. He then joined his brother-in-law in construction, at one point his son Chad joined him.
Mark returned to Wheaton in 2010 due to health issues and to be closer to his family. If you knew Mark, you knew him as a loyal friend and he would help you in any way you needed.
Mark enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, sudoku, and being with family and friends. He found his greatest joy playing basketball with his grandchildren Ava and Connor.
Mark is survived by his sons: Chad (Amy) Klindworth of Wheaton, MN; and Michael (Novy) Klindworth of Austin, Texas; two grandchildren Ava and Connor of Wheaton, MN; one brother Ron (Karen) Klindworth of Monticello, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, brother Kent, sister Sheila and brother-in-law Bruce Betzer.
