Funeral Mass for Maryann Given Stout, age 76, of Wheaton, Minnesota will be held Friday, June 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Ave Maria Catholic Church in Wheaton with Fr. Stanley Wieser Celebrant. Pallbearers will be Austin Nilson, Joey Gaulrapp, Kurt Hofer, Joe Kutzler, Virgil Gaulrapp and David Rath. Honorary Pallbearers will be Maryann's family and friends. Interment will be held in Wildwood Cemetery, Wheaton. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the church on Friday. Maryann Given Stout was born June 16, 1936 in Breckenridge, Minnesota to Fred and Hazel Gaulrapp. Maryann was born with a twin sibling, Joseph Given Gaulrapp. Maryann attended country school near Wheaton. She completed 8th grade before staying at home to help her mother around the farm. When she was in her early twenties Maryann worked out of the home cleaning houses in Wheaton. In 1964 she moved to Montana where she would meet and later marry Charley Stout in 1968 in Idaho City, Idaho. The couple resided in Melrose, Montana. Her husband was a cowboy working on a cattle ranch. Maryann helped in all aspects of ranching, especially cooking for the cowboys. After the passing of her husband, Maryann returned to Minnesota. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Maryann was a kind and loving person. Maryann passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013 at the Traverse Care Center in Wheaton. Maryann is survived by three step-children: Bernadine (Reuben) Kruize of Cheyenne, Wyoming; Jim "Dude" (Kay) Stout of Osage, Iowa; and Betty Nuyen of Arizona; nine step-grandchildren; her twin brother Joseph (Delores) Gaulrapp of Wheaton; three nieces: Carmen (Donald) Burhans of Breckenridge, Minnesota; Debbie Kellen of Wheaton; and Jody (Kurt) Hofer of Wheaton; one nephew Joseph (Lisa) Gaulrapp of Litchfield, Minnesota; seven great-nieces, three great-nephews and one great-great-nephew. Maryann was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Hazel Gaulrapp, her husband Charlie Stout, one brother Frederick "Freddie", and one nephew.
