Peter McKenney

Peter Richard McKenney, age 39, of Fargo, North Dakota formerly of Alexandria, Minnesota was taken in a car accident on September 11, 2020 in Fargo, North Dakota.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Covenant Church in Wheaton, with Pastor Tim Shekleton officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the church.

While maintaining social distancing guidelines, we are now able to gather for visitations and services. The use of face masks by attendees is required. For those who prefer or require continued precautions, webcasting is available.

Peter Richard McKenney was born on December 29, 1980 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Richard and Carolyn (Bryan) McKenney. He graduated from Wheaton High School in 1999 and continued his education at Alexandria Technical College. He enjoyed cooking and did so for a living in Alexandria and Fargo. He made friends wherever he worked and lived. In his spare time he liked to read and refinish furniture.

Peter is survived by his mother Carolyn McKenney of Wheaton; his sister Ruth (Marc) Jenkins of Katikati, New Zealand; two nieces Aubrey and Bria; and one nephew Graham.

Peter was preceded in death by his father Richard McKenney.
