Rebecca Stradley, age 83, of Herman, Minnesota passed away Sunday morning, August 23, 2015 at Stevens Community Medical Center in Morris, Minnesota. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at United Methodist Church in Herman with Rev. Darrell Boe officiating. Interment will be in St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, rural Herman. Pallbearers will be Dale Richards, Claude Sperr, Reiny Kimman, Laurel Ogg, William Ness, Jim Johnson and Derald Hilbrand. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rebecca's nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday morning one hour prior to service time at the church. Rebecca Elsie Stradley was born May 17, 1932 in Duluth, Minnesota to Frank and Elsie (Miller) Ness. She was raised in Ness Township, Minnesota. She attended school in Meadowlands, Floodwood and Herman, Minnesota. Rebecca was married three times: Bill Haack, Alfred Pelletier and Lee Stradley. Lee and Rebecca loved to travel the country together, having traveled in all fifty states. Rebecca was a member of the Legion Auxiliary, Red Hat Ladies, Church Sewing Club and Church Ladies Guild. She enjoyed playing cards, sewing and quilting, driving her red car around and playing with her cats Shadow and Kitty Girl. Rebecca is survived by her sister Arline Grob of Norcross, Minnesota; sister-in-law Joan Ness of Elbow Lake, Minnesota; step-daughter Sharon (Ray) Vanderhoft and their son; step-son Jason (Judy) Stradley and their four children; nieces, nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Alfred Pelletier and Lee Stradley; brother Martin; niece Susan Ness and nephew Sparky Grob.
