Regina Boe

Funeral Service for Regina Dolly Boe, 95, of Wheaton, Minnesota will be held Friday, July 7, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wheaton, Minnesota with Rev. Thomas Olson officiating. Pallbearers will be Roger Wilhelm, Stewart Steen, Richard Sandberg, Sanford Steen, Marie Fuller & Elmer Sandberg. Visitation will be Thursday, July 6, 2006 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Ranney Funeral Home, and one hour prior to services at the church Friday. Interment will take place in Wildwood Cemetery, Wheaton. The Ranney Funeral Home of Wheaton, Minnesota is in charge of arrangements. Dolly was born April 24, 1911 in Clinton, Minnesota to Karen and Samuel Steen. She was baptized May 21, 1911 and confirmed June 28, 1925 at St. Pauli Lutheran Church in Clinton. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1930. Dolly married Melvin A. Boe at St. Pauli Church on September 4, 1935. Dolly was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, the Eastern Star, loved to play bridge and whist, enjoyed embroidery, and most of all enjoyed people. She was well known for her great lemon pie and an occasional joke!! Dolly passed away July 3, 2006 at the Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. Dolly is survived by two children: Shirley Engeldorf & Ken (Bonnie) Boe both of Alexandria, Minnesota, four grandchildren: Brad Engeldorf of Alexandria, Minnesota, Blake Engeldorf of Oakland California, Tamara (Tom) Bevans of St. Joseph, Minnesota, & Barrett (Val Rae) Boe of Starbuck, Minnesota & several nieces and nephews. Dolly was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, son-in-law: Bob Engeldorf, and fourteen brothers & sisters: Anna, Martin, Caroline, Albert, Carl, Volberg, Volmer, Melvin, Selmer, Tina, Ranval, Evelyn, Orville & John.
