Scott was born on May 23, 1961 in Wheaton, MN to Dwayne and Bernice Gaulrapp. Growing up, Scott loved to make everyone laugh. Family and friends enjoyed scaring Scott. He was always so animated when he would tell his stories and you would never forget his stories because he would tell you over and over! He was known as little Duke, the Duke of Iran and he was called a leprechaun.
Scott graduated in 1979. He got married to Wendy Weis and they had three beautiful daughters: Stefanie, Stacy and Sara. After going their separate ways Scott’s world was his three girls and he made it clear he would never date until his daughters graduated.
Scott worked as a welder for over twenty years. Some of his favorite hobbies were fishing and hunting. He would often take his girls pheasant hunting and camping on the weekends. He loved to go driving around looking for asparagus. Scott was known for his outstanding potato salad. Everyone loved his cooking, especially his homemade donuts, caramel rolls, and fried chicken.
Throughout the years Scott impacted many lives, his home was always open for everyone and it was often packed. Scott loved listening in on all the girls' conversations. After the girls graduated Scott spent a lot of time with his best friends at the Wheaton liq. He would call his brother-in-law Brad Jacobs everyday, sometimes 2x! We all loved Scott dearly; brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Scott is survived by daughter Stefanie Cuperus (Nathan Cuperus) of Corpus Christi, TX and their son Quentin; daughter Sara Fuhrman of Beardsley, MN and her children Hadley and Peyton along with Sara’s friend (Jason Pearson); Stacy Hennessy of Fargo, ND and her boys Gunner and Tucker; sisters: Monica Keppler and Joetta Jacobs (Brad); brother Jerry Gaulrapp (Robyn); many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends including his very special friends Jane and Lois.
He was preceded in death by his mom and dad Dwayne and Bernice Gaulrapp; sister Rosella Conroy; brother Barry Gaulrapp; his wife Pam; nephew Ryan Jacobs; and niece Theresa Conroy.
