A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Wildwood Cemetery in Wheaton with Pastor Tim Shekleton officiating.
Shanna Dawn was born on October 15, 1978 to proud parents, Ben and Sharlene Hilderman in Columbus, Montana. The family lived in Montana until 1987 when they moved to Fort Pierre, South Dakota. She graduated from Stanley County High School in May of 1997. She attended college in Rapid City at the School of Mines and University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD. It was in Vermillion where she met Brady Stueve. They have two children, Zachary and Andrew.
Shanna loved anything artistic. She was the go-to person for inspirational ideas. She was active in her children’s lives by volunteering at the school. She was a grade school volunteer basketball coach, talent show organizer, and many other projects. Growing up she was the go-to hair stylist for all her and her sister’s friends in high school. Prom night was a steady stream at the Hilderman house getting all those updos done for prom. Many don’t know that she qualified for a national BB gun competition and won numerous awards for her marksmanship. She grew up in a country setting with horses and competing in rodeo and horsemanship events. She was a business owner, realtor, bookkeeper, florist, and manager. She was just one of those people that could be successful at anything she set her mind to.
She was a caring daughter, granddaughter, sister, auntie (TT), but most of all an amazing mother. She is survived by her sons, Zachary & Andrew Stueve and their father Brady Stueve, parents, Ben & Sharlene Hilderman, Sister, Beth Theriot and son Gavin, Grandmother, Ann Shearer.
The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and support staff of the Sanford Health System in Wheaton and Fargo for all their support, caring, and encouragement.
