Sharon was born in Wheaton, Minnesota, on January 22, 1950, to Rudolph and Elva (Stuckman) Gollnick. She was a wonderful mother to Lisa and Rick and the best little sister to Curtis and an excellent, big sister to David. Sharon spent most of her years working in the secretarial field, as well as the many years she spent working at the State Bank of Wheaton as a teller/bookkeeper. In her earlier years, she loved her hobbies of golfing and bowling. She spent many evenings and weekends bowling in leagues and tournaments. Her bowling friends were extremely important to her and would become her lifelong friends.
Sharon hosted many holidays at her home, and along with that, came the very intense family card game of smear. Her small family of two brothers and two children were very important to her, and she made sure her brothers were always included in her family holidays. She had a great sense of humor, and her friends say she was always fun to be around, and she would keep them laughing hours on end.
Sharon was a lover of all animals but loved cats most of all. Her love for cats brought her so much joy. Her cat Eddy was her most treasured cat she owned. During her later years, she loved going for rides with her brother David, whether it be just for the heck of it, or to look at the Autumn leaves. Travels through the Otter Tail area to view fall foliage were some of her most treasured moments in time.
Sharon is survived by her daughter Lisa (Dean) Lehmann and her son Richard (Tara) Stange; and brothers: Curtis Gollnick and David Gollnick. She adored her ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren and her best friends of over 50 years, Beth Palm and Carol Giroux. Lisa’s family includes Daniel Johnson, Justin (Jessica) Lehmann and their children Cecelia and Lyla Lehmann, Eric (Nicole) Lehmann and their children Hayes and Remi, and Michael (Devon) Lehmann. Rick’s family includes Brandon Stange, Dane Stange, Lily Stange, Aurora (Tate) Wallman, Ayreal Keppler and Jasmine Erbes.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Rudolph and Elva Gollnick.
