Norbert V. Hahn, 85, Greensburg, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2012 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis. Born, April 1, 1927 in Decatur County, he was the son of Lawrence J. and Josephine C. (Harpring) Hahn. Norbert graduated in 1945 from Greensburg High School. He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Knights of St. John. He was an avid sports fan and loved to follow his grandchildren in their sports and other activities. He was married to Marjorie A. Stier on May 29, 1948 and she preceded him in death on February 27, 2009. He is survived by six sons, Ted (Susie) Hahn, Greensburg, Dan (Sue) Hahn, Greensburg, Gordon (Sue) Hahn, Aurora, Il., Mark (Kim) Hahn, Greensburg, Andy (Connie) Hahn, New Castle, Pat (Mona) Hahn, Greensburg; one daughter, Nicki (Gene) Wuestefeld, Batesville; one brother, Ralph (Beverly) Hahn, Greensburg; 22 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother, Ernest Hahn; one sister, Mildred M. Koors. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. Friday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. A rosary for family and friends will be prayed at 3:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg with Rev. John Meyer officiating. Interment will be held in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Greensburg. Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Church Building Fund or to the American Heart Association.
