Timothy Baufield

Timothy David Baufield was born May 9, 1963 to David and Christine (Edin) Baufield. He grew up in the Elk River area of Minnesota where he developed a love of nature that continued throughout his life. He graduated high school in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and honorably served in the military as an M.P. and a dog handler.

Throughout his life he worked in many trades; the last being a bartender at the St. Francis American Legion. Everywhere he went he made friends easily with his charm and caring attitude. Due to many unfortunate circumstances with his health, he was forced to retire early. Being one to never give up a fight, he continued to find ways to be productive and helpful. He spent time volunteering at the elementary school with 100-mile club. He was also involved in 4-H when there was a need and he was able. He loved doing light landscaping and wearing his winter ice beard when snow blowing.

He enjoyed running his barbeque smoker and found great joy in sharing the finished product. Timothy was a great man and did as much as he could. He brightened the lives of everyone around him. He will be missed.

Timothy is survived by his wife of twenty-one years Rachel; son Nicholas; his parents David and Christine; his sisters: Tammy (Svend), Tonja (Michael; his dog Luke and his most loved birds Cloudy and Sunshine; his mother-in-law Elaine; and sisters-in-law Jennifer and Raina and their families.

Please join us for a Memorial Service on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bainbridge Funeral Home in Wheaton. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m.
