Vyonne Totzke

Vyonne Totzke, age 82, of Wheaton, Minnesota passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the Sanford Palliative Care Unit in Fargo, North Dakota.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton, Minnesota with Rev. Michael Breach officiating. Organist will be Sara Lee Rinke with special music provided by Crystal Olson.

Interment will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, rural Wheaton. Pallbearers will be Kelly Klemm, Gavin Klemm, Craig Ehlers, Austin Boehmlehner, Shannon Boehmlehner, Matt Klemm and Cally Findlay. Honorary Pallbearers will be Vyonne's coffee ladies.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 1st from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service and Time of Sharing Service at St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton. Visitation will continue Monday morning one hour prior to service time at the Church.

Vyonne was born in Wheaton, MN on November 10, 1934. She grew up on a farm south of Wheaton with her family. She graduated from Wheaton High School. Vyonne married Harvey Totzke on June 16, 1957 at St. John Lutheran Church. She worked for Tara Mutual Insurance Company for over sixty years up until the time of her death. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching her great-grandchildren, coffee with the ladies at Julie's, shopping, dining out and an occasional trip to the casino. The highlight of her day was when her nephews and other family would stop by the office to talk. She proudly accepted the name of GG after becoming a great-grandma. She deeply missed spending time with Harvey and taking rides to look at the crops.

Vyonne is survived by her daughter: Darla (Shawn) Dobberstein of Fargo, ND, two grandchildren: Kayla (Matt) Moore of Harwood, ND; Mike (Katy) Dobberstein of Fargo, ND; three great-grandchildren: Hannah Moore, Hailee Moore and Mason Dobberstein; sister-in-law Evelyn (Rodney) Swenson of Puyallup, WA; many nephews and niece.

Vyonne was preceded in death by her husband: Harvey Totzke; parents: John and Ida Boehmlehner; brothers: Arnold and Ervin Boehmlehner and sisters: Esther Ehlers and Alice Klemm.
