Webber Wallace Anderson, age 91, of Wheaton, Minnesota passed away Tuesday morning, March 17, 2015 at Stevens County Medical Center in Morris, Minnesota. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wheaton with Rev. David Strom officiating. Organist will be LeAnn Bjornson with special music provided by Gary and Pam Anderson and Darwin and Donna Anderson. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery, rural Wheaton. Pallbearers will be Dustin, Ryan, Grant, Darin, Delane, Curtis and Dennis Anderson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Webber's granddaughters. Military Rites will be provided by the Merton Dale American Legion Post #80. Visitation will be Friday, March 20th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Time of Sharing Service at the Bainbridge Funeral Home in Wheaton. Visitation will continue Saturday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Webber was born in Wheaton, Minnesota one of eleven children born to Swan and Minnie (Larson) Anderson on June 17, 1923. He was baptized on October 9, 1927. Webber attended District #40 country school in West Munson Township, Minnesota. He attended and graduated Wheaton High School in 1941. After graduation he worked at the Ag School in Morris, Minnesota. He was united in marriage to Caryl Hanson on October 27, 1944. He entered the United States Marine Corps on November 30, 1944 and was honorably discharged on August 21, 1946. After returning from the service he farmed north of Wheaton before moving to White Rock, South Dakota and was hired by the United States post office in 1954. The couple moved into Wheaton in 1963. Webber worked for the post office until 1986 when he retired. Caryl passed away December 28, 1987. Webber was united marriage to Lois Carlson Totzke on November 4, 1989 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wheaton. The couple resided in Wheaton until they moved to Morris, Minnesota in January of 2014. Webber was a member of the Merton Dale American Legion and Traverse County Sportsmans Club. Nothing mattered more to Webber than his family and his love for children. He enjoyed playing cards and played nearly everyday. He also enjoyed gardening, hunting, horses, fishing and bowling. Webber is survived by his wife Lois of Morris, Minnesota; children: Larry (Carol) Anderson of Wendell, Minnesota; Lonnie Anderson and Stephanie of Morris; Daryl (Theresa) Anderson of Dumont, Minnesota; Doyle (Jone) Anderson of Morris; Glenda (Jeff) Ruud of Elko, Minnesota; and Gwen (Paul) Lorenzen of Prior Lake, Minnesota; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; brother Darwin (Donna) Anderson of Wheaton; step-children: Kathy (Gary) Hanson of Cavalier, North Dakota; Sandra (Terry) O'Shea of Velva, North Dakota; Carol Breveg (Vern Meyers) of Oregon; and many nieces and nephews. Webber was preceded in death by his wife Caryl; parents; three brothers and six sisters.
