Funeral Mass for Wesley Anthony Arnoldi, age 103, of Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, formerly a lifelong resident of Graceville, Minnesota will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Graceville, Minnesota with Fr. Joe Vandeberg Celebrant. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment will be in the Graceville Consolidated Cemetery. Wesley Anthony Arnoldi was born on May 30, 1909 to Peter and Mary Arnoldi in Sanborn, Minnesota. As a young boy Wesley and his family moved to the Graceville area where farming was their occupation. Wesley attended school through the eight grade and then elected to work on the farm with his family. Wesley and Nona Kenyon were united in marriage on December 2, 1935 at the St. Barnabus Catholic Church in Barry, Minnesota. Wesley remained farming well into his late 70s when finally deciding to retire. At the age of 95, Wesley moved to Pequot Lakes to spend his remaining years with his immediate family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wesley enjoyed his family and friends. He enjoyed playing cards, listening to Twins baseball games, visiting with any and all, hunting, reading western books, fishing and especially farming. Wesley passed away on Friday, July 13, 2012 at the Heritage House in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota. Wesley is lovingly remembered by his children: Beverly (Ordell) Buntje; Ronald Arnoldi; and Rick (Linda) Arnoldi all of Crosslake, Minnesota; grandchildren: Dana (David) Anderson; Shane (Christine) Buntje and Heather Berger; great-grandchildren: Tyler Anderson, Kendyl Anderson, Karly Anderson, Grant Buntje, Ghage Berger, Nicole Tommerdahl and Cassandra Tommerdahl and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Wesley was preceded in death by his beloved wife of fifty years Nona, an infant son Duane, his parents, three brothers: Ora, Elra and Willard, and six sisters: Jessie Billiet, Veronica Johnson, Elizabeth Arnoldi, Una Arnoldi, Angeline Pelizinski and Cleova Wencil.
